Did you know that the Paradise Cove Beach Café has been here for decades? In fact, southern California’s very own Beach Boys shot their debut album cover; Surfin’ Safari, for Capital Records right here on our beach in 1962. These sun-tanned young men named Brian, Dennis & Carl Wilson along with Mike Love recorded that iconic song about their favorite sport – surfing. So come along on your own Surfin’ Safari to the exact spot where history was made.
Paradise Cove was the location for Jim Rockford’s trailer in the TV series the Rockford Files. James Garner was the star of the series that ran from 1974 to 1980. The Rockford Files was ranked # 39 in the TV Guide 5 Greatest TV Shows of all time.
