Paradise Cove has been a part of Malibu for over 100 years. It began when the Morris family purchased the land with it's private cove. They held on to the land for quite some time and eventually sold it to the Kissel family who turned it into a mobilehome park. The Paradise Cove Beach Cafe also used to be called The Sandcastle until 1998 when Bob Morris took over and turned it into the Paradise Cove Beach Cafe.
